How to Set Product Size and Weight for TikTok Shop

Overview

TikTok Shop requires product size and weight for certain product categories
To ensure successful product synchronization from TikTok Shop Connector by SPL to TikTok Shop, Shopify merchants must specify the size and weight for the products they sync.

Manual Edit

If you are manually syncing your Shopify products:

Go to Product > Shopify products > edit in the TikTok Shop Connector by SPL admin.


Click Edit next to any product to set the following details:
Weight
Length
Width
Height

Set Default Product Dimensions (For Products Without Size/Weight)

If certain Shopify products don’t have height and width specified, TikTok Shop Connector by SPL will use default product dimensions.

To set default dimensions:

Go to Settings in the TikTok Shop Connector by SPL.
Under General Settings, scroll down to Default Product Dimensions.
Enter the default Height, Width, and Length values.


These defaults will be applied to all products missing dimension data during sync.

Why Is Size and Weight Required?

TikTok Shop uses size and weight (length, width, height) to calculate shipping costs.
Providing accurate product dimensions ensures:
Correct shipping cost calculation
Smooth product listing and order processing
