⚙️ Settings Overview in the Shortly App

The Settings tab in Shortly helps you customize your affiliate marketing experience — from branding and coupon bar setup to domain management, language, and tracking configurations.

🏪 Store Information

- Brand Name: The name displayed across your Shortly affiliate links and notifications.
- Store Email: Contact email associated with your affiliate program.
- Click Update after making changes.

📣 Announcement Bar (Coupon Banner)

Enable a discount banner that appears at the top of your store.

Features:
- Show Discount Price – Displays the discounted amount
- Countdown Timer – Creates urgency (in minutes)
- Coupon Bar Text – Custom message (e.g., “Your coupon code is reserved for you”)
- Color Picker – Set bar & text color
- Position – Choose where to display the banner (top/bottom)

🔧 Tip: Use this to boost coupon visibility during launches or sales.

🌐 Domain Settings

Choose your default domain for shortlinks.



- Used when creating trackable affiliate links
- Click Update to save

🍪 Cookie Duration

Define how long Shortly should track visits for affiliate attribution:



- Default: 30 days
- Editable anytime

This determines the window within which a customer’s purchase will count toward affiliate credit.

🌍 Timezone Settings

Choose your preferred timezone for reports and affiliate tracking.



- Click Update to apply changes

🏷️ Manage Order Tags

Use this feature to auto-apply tags to orders generated via affiliate links.

- Referrer Tag – Turn ON to tag orders by referral
- Custom Order Tag – Add a label like Shortly
- Click Update after toggling

📝 Useful for filtering and exporting orders linked to affiliate campaigns.

🖥️ Full Screen Mode

Enable immersive fullscreen view for better focus while managing affiliates and analytics.

- Toggle ON to launch Shortly in fullscreen

🧠 Enable Coupon-Based Tracking

Track the effectiveness of campaigns using coupon usage:

- Toggle Enable Coupon Based Tracking to track orders where a coupon code is applied.
- Great for measuring influencer-specific performance.

🌐 Manage App Language

Change the language of the Shortly app interface.

- Supported languages: English (more coming soon)
- Select from the dropdown and click Save

🔐 Generate Chrome Extension Token

To connect the Shortly Chrome Extension, generate a secure access token.

Enter the email associated with your Shortly app.
Click Resend Token or Reset Email if needed.



This token is used to authorize the Chrome extension for secure access.

✅ With the Shortly Chrome Extension, you can:
- View affiliate performance
- Access tracking links
- Monitor orders and commissions

all without logging into your Shopify admin. Just open the extension in your browser and manage everything on the go.
